Honoring The Fallen

KnowledgeByte Main Image

No matter where this holiday weekend finds you, at a picnic, at a parade, in front of a TV watching the Indy 500 or the Memorial Golf Tournament, or at a cemetery remembering a loved one, let us stop and honor the reason we have this extra time off.

A tradition that dates back to the Civil War days. Memorial Day is where we stop, as a country, to remember those who have fallen in service to our country. We are grateful for all the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

We also want to pause and recognize the brave men and women in uniform wherever they may be deployed. Thank you for your service.

In recognition of the holiday, our office will be closed on Monday, May 28th.

Playful Impressions

Our client, CHOC Foundation, wanted to create customized trophies to recognize the winners and co-chairs of a fundraising poker tournament they were holding. Using a picture of what they had in mind, we created 8 customized acrylic awards for them to hand out.

Our artist put together a design for the client to approve. This final design was fabricated from acrylic, etched to show the card designs and attached to a black acrylic base with a customized nameplate.

The end result looked fantastic and the client was very happy with the trophies. “Our team loved them! We were surprised about the quick turnaround and the design of the custom cards that your team produced. Thank you for all of your help!”

Caring Impressions

Our client, Mission Laguna Beach Hospital, wanted to update the patient room dry erase boards in their Emergency Department. These communication tools help inform patients and their families about a variety of tasks as well as the names of people working to help them while they are in the Emergency Department. Doctors and nurses also use them to communicate important information that can be seen at a glance and to improve the quality of care given to each patient.

Working with hospital staff, samples of the new boards were tested and approved for production. These boards are made on a special dye sublimation coated steel with a dry erase coating for easy updating and to allow magnets to be used as well. This material was specified due to the durable properties of the dye sublimation material. The color vibrancy of this product is another benefit of this unique graphic substrate. Our professional installer used security locks to keep the graphic safely on the wall.

Motivational Impressions

Our client, Tom Moffett Plumbing, wanted to install customized motivational posters in their Anaheim headquarters. Each poster was centered around each of three company values – Family, Integrity and Service. Layout ideas were discussed and a final design direction was set. After a few rounds of design, electronic proofs were submitted for final approval.

Prints were made and face mounted to ½″ thick beveled and polished acrylic. Each 24″× 36″ poster was attached with Stand-offs in each corner. The staff was very pleased with the final results, as was the business owner!

Do you need to add some motivational impressions to your office, lobby or boardroom? If so, give us a call. We’d be happy to bring your vision to reality. We are Photomation — Imagination Thrives Here™
