Bold Impressions

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Dawson & Dawson, wanted to upgrade their office environment to kick off the new year. Owner, Kathy Dawson, shared her vision with Photomation president, Charlene Hesketh, and design ideas were presented. Once approved, the order for the dimensional sign you see above was put into production.

Due to the color gradation in the company logo, producing this sign was both a combination of graphic-making and sign-making skills. Color prints were mounted to the back of ½″ acrylic, placed on our router where the lettering and shapes were cut.

Using a template, each piece was adhered to a provided piece of acrylic and the completed sign was installed using standoffs. Our client was thrilled with the results and looks forward to the next phase of her office upgrade project.

Impactful Impressions

Our client, Credit Union of Southern California (CUSC), wanted to brand their newest location in Costa Mesa. Working with the credit union’s marketing department, drawings were created to show final designs and the installation locations for the signs and graphics they requested.

One of the phases of this project was to install word walls in four offices inside the branch. Used to tell the story of the company’s culture, these word walls were designed to show various depth and texture while highlighting the experience the credit union’s members can expect from CUSC.

Made from ½″ thick acrylic painted to match the wall color and 3M 180C with 8519 printed the same color as the wall, these words make impactful impressions on every member who sees them. Our crew of experienced installers performed the installation.

Do you have a wall that you would like to make more impactful impressions on your clients, staff or shareholders? If so, give us a call. We’d be happy to help you tell your story using signs and graphics. We are Photomation — Imagination Thrives Here™

Lasting Impressions

Our client, Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, wanted to update the hallway signage outside the team’s locker room. Working with the Ducks staff, designs were submitted and finalized artwork was approved for production.

Using polished aluminum on ½″ Sintra and brushed aluminum on ¼″ Sintra, our AXYZ router cut each letter, logo and pennant-shaped background. Each piece then had their edges painted and it was re-assembled using paper templates we created. Mounting hardware was added to the back of the large piece. Installation was performed by our expert installer.

The display tells the story of the lasting impressions and on-ice accomplishments the team has achieved in its nearly 25 year history. It’s also designed to update additional milestones as they are achieved, saving money in future years.

Do you have a story you want to tell your clients, staff or stakeholders? If so, give us a call. We’d be happy to take your vision and turn it into reality. We are Photomation — Imagination Thrives Here™
