Increasing Curb Appeal

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Dogma Pet Portraits, wanted to attract more awareness of their business located on the busy Newport Blvd in Newport Beach, Ca. For this project, the studio owners wanted to use a picture of their recently passed dog to memorialize her as the store’s mascot. They came to Photomation to find a solution.

Cut vinyl letters were added to the arched overhang of the walkway to clearly identify the company inside. Using window perf material, the graphics were sized and printed for each windowpane. Installation was performed by our professional installer and took a couple of hours. During the installation process several people remarked how nice the image looked and they did not know that Dogma was located there.

Dogma Pet Portraits takes amazing pictures of pets and their owners. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to capture the love of a pet and their owner.

Building Brand Awareness

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, FirstLine Security, was getting ready to move into their brand new facility. Along with other sign projects, they wanted to put their logo on the front two sides of their Anaheim, Ca. building. They called Photomation to help. The principles of the two companies met through a program conducted by WBENC, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. From that program, a new business relationship was established.

A site visit was arranged and details of what the client was looking for were discussed. Drawings were made for client approval. Once they approved them, permits were pulled and production began.

Using 1″ thick acrylic with a brushed aluminum face, the logo and each letter were cut using our AXYZ router. From there, each edge was painted gray to give the look of solid aluminum…at a fraction of the cost! Our installers used VHB tape and silicone to adhere the letters and logo to the glass building. Installation took several hours to complete.

The client was thrilled with the result. Stay tuned for future Knowledge Bytes to see the rest of the work we did for this client!
