Flight for the Calder Cup

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, San Diego Gulls Hockey Club, has made the playoffs. The Gulls are the AHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks. Players from this team can be called up to play with the Ducks at some point in their career. Photomation provided graphics to get the arena, fans and players ready for the flight for the Calder Cup!

In the arena, branded 7′× 42′ banners were installed in the stands at the ends of the rink. A countdown graphic was created to mark-off the 15 wins needed over 4 rounds of playoff competition. In the locker room, temporary wall graphics were installed to help hone the focus of the team and motivate them in the run to raise the Calder Cup!

Dozens of 3′× 5′ banners were also produced to distribute to sponsorship and community partners to extend the excitement of the playoff race to a wider audience. The flight for the Calder Cup has begun!

Do you need graphics to motivate your staff or call attention to a new program? If so, give us a call, we’d be happy to help bring your vision to reality.

Reflecting Riverside Community

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Altura Credit Union, wanted to upgrade the look of their branch in Riverside. Their goal was to use images from the surrounding area to show their commitment to the community they serve. Working with their Photomation Account Executive, Francisco Flores, goals were discussed, options were explored and a plan was put in place.

Images were selected that reflected the Riverside area and designs were submitted for approval. Once we got the go-ahead, production began on a variety of graphical elements. A unique circular soffit serves as a focal point in the branch. Installing new graphics and adding ¼″ dimensional white lettering created a whole new look to the overhead area.

Clear acrylic signs with brushed aluminum lettering were hung to help guide members to the proper service location. Adding floor to ceiling custom digital wallcovering on a couple of walls in the branch helped to bring the whole design together. Our crew of professional installers performed the entire installation in a single day.

Do you need to upgrade or refresh your office or lobby space? If so, give us a call. We’d be happy to help bring your vision to reality.

Pursuing Hockey’s Most Coveted Prize

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, has won the Pacific Division for the 5th straight year! Getting the arena ready for playoffs has been keeping us busy during the past week. Each year there is a design theme created by the talented artists at the Ducks and our job is to print and install graphics that transform the Honda Center and welcomes guests to the run for Lord Stanley’s Cup.

Playoff graphics are everwhere, both inside and outside the arena. Attendees will first see graphics on a large marble arch, as well as planters and light poles wrapped with playoff-themed graphics. As they enter the Playoff Spot they will see graphics on pillars, walls, windows and floors.

Moving into the concourse, a new magnetic graphic is on display just outside the team store. Fans entering into the arena bowl will notice graphics on the stair risers and large graphics on pillars in the upper level creating a countdown to the number of wins needed to secure hockey’s most coveted prize.

Across the street, at the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center, ARTIC, we added graphics to the stairs on both sides of the track to extend the Ducks’ “#PaintItOrange” theme into the community. The players are ready and the arena is ready. Let’s get these playoffs started!

Do you have a need for graphics on your wall, window, floors or doors? If so, give us a call.

Letter Perfect

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Integrated Builder’s Group, was contracted to renovate the facilities of the Parsons Federal Credit Union. Working with their Photomation Account Executive, Francisco Flores, the goals and visions of the design were discussed then suggestions were offered and approved.

One of the design elements for this project was dimensional lettering. Used to brand the facility and communicate to members, dimensional lettering is a vital element to the overall look and feel of a project.

For Parsons, branding begins in the parking lot with a monument sign that greets visitors and continues in the lobby with a painted dimensional logo and brushed aluminum lettering with polished edges. As you move into a meeting room you are met with a smaller version of the lobby logo and a very interesting lettering display of the Parsons Board of Directors. This display has a base made of brushed aluminum with painted black aluminum letters that look like they are individually resting on the base.

All of the dimensional lettering and logos were installed by our team of professional installers using special pins and spacers to hold the letters away from the wall.

Our client was very happy with the results and with how easy it was to work with Photomation. Dimensional lettering is the perfect way to compliment a strong branding image.

Do you have a logo or message you want to put on your wall? If so, give us a call. We’ll be happy to bring your vision to reality.

Making Waves

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, California Coast Credit Union, wanted to open a new branch near Petco Park in San Diego.  The goal of this branch was to make it a showcase and reflect the forward vision of the company.  Working with their Photomation Account Executive, Francisco Flores, the site was surveyed and ideas were tossed back and forth.  A plan was created and production began.

Thinking outside the box generated the illuminated logo you see above.  Separating the “waves” of the logo and placing them at different depths took this ordinary project and made it extraordinary.  Using halo lit LED technology each wave washed the wall with soft light adding to the dimensional look of this 6′×4′ brushed aluminum piece.

On a separate wall, a brushed aluminum logo measuring 13′ long was installed to anchor the branding of this branch.  The end result was a very satisfied client and a branch that showcases the best of California Coast Credit Union.

Do you have a lobby, office or branch you want to showcase to your clients or staff?  If so, give us a call.  We’d be happy to help bring your vision to reality.
