Cup Crazy!

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, has made the playoffs again. To create a festive environment, the Club asked us to print and install several large graphics. In addition to the graphic we showcased last week, in this week’s edition you’ll see additional graphics we printed and installed.

Fans arriving to the South Entrance at Honda Center will be greeted by a large graphic spanning an 80′ long marble arch. Also known as “The Playoff Spot”, this area under the portico has several graphics made and installed by our team of installers.

Eight, four-sided columns are wrapped with player images and Cup logos. Large graphics adorn the east and west walls of The Playoff Spot. Six floor graphics welcome fans to the area and window graphics add to the festive atmosphere. Planters and light poles were also wrapped with playoff branding graphics. Playoffs are like no other time of the year! #GoDucksGo

It’s Playoff Time in Anaheim!

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, has made the playoffs again. To create a festive environment, the Club asked us to print and install several large graphics.

One “signature” graphic, the largest graphic, is the north domed window. This 45′ radius semicircle is printed in sections and installed piece by piece to create the graphic you see above.

Numerous other areas are decorated as well. You can see them up close and personal by dropping by Honda Center or you can read more about them here next week. Let the race for the Stanley Cup begin! #GoDucksGo

Catch the Angels Express

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), needed two complete bus wraps to promote their Angels Express partnership with Metrolink. These buses are designed to complement the Angels Express railcar wrap we recently completed.

Using artwork and a supplied template from OCTA, the image is carefully aligned to ensure all critical text is legible on this 40′ moving billboard. Next, the files are broken up into individual panels for production. 3M 180C with 8519 lam is used to provide the best result. Special 3M window perforated and laminated window film is used to cover areas where the graphic goes over bus windows.

Installation was performed at OCTA’s Santa Ana maintenance yard. To minimize the disruption of having a bus out of service while it is wrapped, each graphic was installed over two separate weekends. The two bus wraps, combined with a railcar wrap, create a unique marketing campaign to attract more ridership to Angels home games.

Vehicle graphics, including buses and trains, can help attract attention to your company. Do you have a marketing campaign you need to get moving? Give us a call. We’ll be glad to help you get started. We are Photomation — Imagination Thrives Here™
