The Sign Looks “WOW!”

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Griffin’s Grill, was preparing to open up their new restaurant and wanted to install a sign over the kitchen area. Working with their Photomation Account Executive, Francisco Flores, restaurant owner Matt Herrick, discussed what he was looking for and left the creativity up to Francisco.

Using graphics on the face of the backlit letters Francisco designed a “fiery glow” to be added around the letters. “I wanted it to look like the sign was on fire”, said Francisco Flores. A special dimmer was added to the glow to allow its intensity to be raised or lowered based on activities going on in the popular local sports bar.

Owner Matt Herrick had to leave prior to the installation being completed so he called back to his General Manager and asked, “How does the sign look? Does it look good?” The GM responded, “The sign looks WOW!”

Do you need some “WOW” in your sign designs? Give us a call. We’ll be happy to help you. We are Photomation — Imagination Thrives Here™

We Are Certified

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Photomation is pleased to announce that our printers are 3M™ MCS™ Warranty Certified. This certification means that we are qualified to offer the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty for graphics made on 3M-specified products printed on both our HP 360 64″ printer and our HP LX600 108″ printer.

As a graphics manufacturer, Photomation is proud to be certified by 3M as being able to offer the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty on finished graphics that meet their exacting requirements. While this Certificate is not required by 3M, it does demonstrate our commitment to excellence, and helps give you, our valued client, a greater peace of mind.

The process to become certified required taking online examinations covering different types of vinyls and adhesives and how to properly specify different materials based on the intended use. Scientific aspects of different vinyls and specialty materials were also part of the six-hour exam. Once the testing phase was completed, our equipment was verified by an onsite visit of our 3M representative.

Constantly looking at how to provide the very best quality, products and service is how we do business. Our 3M Certification is another way we demonstrate that commitment to our clients. We are Photomation — Imagination Thrives Here™.

Motivational, Inspirational Graphics

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Amway-Nutrilite, built-out a new employee fitness center. When the physical structure was complete their designers called upon their Photomation Account Manager, Mike Mertz, to help with wall enhancements and inspiring graphic arts. Mike made many suggestions and provided samples for the client’s team to review. He then took critical measurements for comparison with contractor schematics to ensure proper placement.

Armed with print-ready artwork, Mike coordinated with Photomation’s team of digital technicians to produce the graphics. Logos and words were printed on 3M’s 180cV3 and we applied a 3M protective lamination to the surface. Each set was digitally die-cut on our Zund and GraphTec cutters. Every piece was hand weeded and application tape applied.

Mike then scheduled Photomation’s expert installers to put up the project over a two day period. Scaffolding was set-up and our installers worked to complete the project and beat the client’s construction timeline.

Do you have plain walls that need some inspiration? Give us a call. We’ll be happy to help show you all the possibilities. We are Photomation — Imagination Thrives Here™
