Gala Graphics

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Company President, Charlene Hesketh, recently attended a Womens Business Enterprise Council-West, WBEC-West Conference, in Santa Barbara. Photomation was pleased to provide several items used during the three-days of teaching and training sessions.

For the closing conference gala, Charlene partnered with fellow women-owned business Thoro Packaging to present a printed tile piece to all attendees. In addition, Photomation created an 8′×10′ step and repeat backdrop used for photos taken at the event. Lastly, several roll-up banner stands were created for display in the WBE to WBE Connect Room to showcase how women-owned businesses working with other women-owned businesses benefits everyone involved.

Crystal Clear Results

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Los Angeles County Sanitation District (LACSD), asked Mike Mertz, their Photomation Account Manager, for help with some new corporate artwork.

Mike met with the customer’s designers and offered several options including framed artwork and stretched canvas options. Mike emphasized our ultimate ‘Floating Glass’ hanging art product and the client loved this suggestion.

Artwork was pulled together highlighting LACSD facilities all over Los Angeles County. Photomation printed the images, applied them to a polished acrylic face and attached an inset back hanging devise. Thirty-five pieces of art were printed, mounted and prepared for hanging.

Our expert art installation team worked over several days putting up the art in various locations throughout their corporate facility. Each piece was carefully hung in a desired pattern on brick, concrete and drywall.

The Floating Glass results were crystal clear – a stunning new look.

Hockey Season Starts Very Soon

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, uses the four large corner windows at Honda Center to signal that the beginning of hockey season is upon us.

To create these graphics we placed the artwork into a template that showed the placement of each window. Using material specifically designed to last the entire season, we then created panels to print the 22′×36′ graphic. Using two boom lift trucks that reach five stories tall, each graphic was placed in its proper position by our professional installers.

The end result is a dramatic set of four graphics that greet fans coming to Honda Center and help to dress up the arena for the coming hockey season. As avid Ducks fans ourselves, we can’t wait to get this season started.

KnowledgeByte Main Image

In recognition of the Labor Day holiday, Photomation will be closed on Monday, September 7th.

In our weekly Knowledge Bytes, we talk a lot about the equipment we use and the innovative products we produce. The truth is that none of those things would be possible without the hard working, dedicated people of Photomation. Their pursuit of perfection and commitment to excellence is what makes everything we do possible.

So this week, I wanted to pause and acknowledge our entire team who work tirelessly to make magic happen here at Photomation! We are blessed to have each of you and we cannot do it without you! From the bottom of our heart, Thank You for all you do for our company and our clients.

We will be back in the office, ready to serve our clients, on Tuesday, September 8th.
