Wallcovering, Floor Graphics, Pole Wrap

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, needed to showcase one of their Community Relations campaigns to help raise awareness of the Anaheim Ducks Foundation. The project included three different types of graphics: Wall Covering, Floor Graphics and a Pole Wrap.

After receiving files from the graphic artist at the Ducks, we prepared the files for production. All the graphics shared the same printable adhesive material, 3M 180Cv3. The wallcovering and the pole wrap were laminated using 3M’s 8519 luster laminate and the floor graphics were laminated with a special material specifically designed for graphics on the floor.

Our team of installers went to Honda Center and began by installing the pole wrap while their facilities staff removed the TV from the wall. Once they were done the wallcovering went up and then the floor graphics were installed. The entire process took about three hours.

The Community Relations department loved the installation and is excited to begin a new hockey season and help raise money for the Anaheim Ducks Foundation.

Traveling Billboard Makes Big Impression

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Pasadena Advertising, won a contract with Foothill Work Investment Board (FWIB) to rebrand their website and to design graphics for their traveling training center.

Working with Suzanne Marks, the agency’s President and CEO, along with her design team, Photomation helped provide the measurements and specifications for a successful production file. Once the file was submitted, our team of digital experts created a proof for the client to approve. After getting the thumbs up, we printed the graphic on 3M 180Cv3 with 8519 lamination to wrap the front, back and sides of the vehicle. Installation took a little more than a day.

The mission of the FWIB is to provide an employment and training service delivery system that is responsive to the needs of employers and job seekers by establishing a public and private partnership that will provide high quality programs and services that addresses the demands of the local labor market. The bus will travel to different locations and is a traveling training center.

Vehicle wraps are a cost-effective way to spruce up drab exteriors and create a traveling billboard to draw attention to your company. If you want to make a big impression, give us a call. We’ll be glad to help you!

Increased Speed, Capacity and Quality

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our newest tool to provide eye-catching graphics is our Mimaki JV33 printer. This 63″ wide printer has increased our speed of printing, more than doubled our capacity and it prints at an amazingly high resolution that gives you an improved quality graphic.

This printer recently completed a 13,000 sq foot job on 3M 180C. The color, speed and quality of the finished output was superb. With 1440 dpi resolution, we are able to make remarkably clear graphics with sharp, crisp type. Small type is much more defined and easier to read.

Near photo quality output is possible. Using some of the specialty materials available for the Mimaki, we can now do some exciting new applications of graphics.  We are eager to show you what this new machine can do. Give us a call to see our samples. We can’t wait to show them to you!

Unleash Your Inner Fair

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Fairplex Los Angeles, in partnership with Metrolink, called upon their Account Manager, Mike Mertz to set-up and coordinate a train rail car wrap. This wrap highlights their most recent event at Fairplex – The LA County Fair.

Mike worked with their design team and gave specifications for a successful production file. Once the file was submitted, Photomation’s team of digital experts created a proof for customer sign-off. After approval, we printed 46 panels on 3M180cV3 each 18 feet tall to accommodate four sides of the train car. For the windows we printed 3M window perf and laminated with their specified lamination.

In preparation for the installation, Photomation’s team cleaned the rail car exterior, leaving the surface free of oils. Once that was complete our professionals installed the rail car wrap and met the customer’s 5-day installation schedule. Another job well done.

Unleash your inner fair. The LA County Fair runs August 30 to September 29.
