A New Experience

Our client, Premier Exhibitions, called their Photomation Account Manager, Mike Mertz, to help with graphic production for their newest duel attraction, “Titanic: The Experience and Bodies: The Exhibit”.  This exhibition is staged at the former Movieland Wax Museum in Buena Park, CA. Mike met with their management and exhibit designer staff many times to help fulfill their graphic requirements to help meet their opening August 1, 2013.

Two 10 foot by 11 foot fabric banners were printed and stretched onto 2″×2″ custom built stretcher frames. Photomation provided hanging solutions for these main lobby graphics. In addition, we printed a variety of our DigitalMaster™ print graphics, laminated with a matte finish and mounted to white PVC Sintra material. All of this was produced on time to meet their tight deadline.

“Titanic: The Experience” tells the story of the doomed ocean liner through more than 250 artifacts retrieved from the floor of the Atlantic Ocean, sets that recreate portions of the ship, actors in early 20th century costumes and narratives of passengers. “Bodies: The Exhibition” features preserved human corpses posed like action figures. Their skin is removed to expose how muscles and organs appear.

The exhibit is now open to the public.  Be sure to visit this new experience in Buena Park, CA.
