Going Uptown in Downtown

The City of Long Beach called upon their Photomation Account Manager, Mike Mertz to discuss design ideas of updating their renovated permit department. Mike suggested using old and new images in and around the city to help create interest and brighten the area with colorful images. He worked closely with our digital artists to drop images into photos taken of the office area as concepts.

The clients were thrilled with ideas of combining framed historical images sourced from Historical Society of Long Beach and contemporary photographic images as permanent wallcovering. After several rounds of proofs using different images the clients made their choices.

We framed historical images using black and white mats and silver molding to accent the office decor. Several images were printed on Terra Decorus™, our recycled, earth-friendly wallcovering product. Our professional staff delivered and installed the products and met their tight deadline.

The new art work was well received. The City of Long Beach staff introduced their streamlined permit department regulations event where mayor Bob Foster explained the ease of doing business in Long Beach. When you need office and work space updated, call the professionals at Photomation.
