Big Bang, Big Hit

Our client, Anaheim Arena Management, called us to help create branded décor graphics for a concert by the internationally famous Korean singing group “Big Bang.” The arena staff put us in touch with the agency doing the US tour promotions. Samsung was the major sponsor for the tour.

Working with the agency in New York, our team met with the arena staff to walk the venue and assess where graphics could be installed. After some conversations back and forth with the agency, the type and size of graphics were determined and the project was set in motion.

Graphics for the event would consist of 8′×8′ and 8′×20′ banners and 25–30″×120″ four-sided “boxes” that would be placed around pillars inside and outside the arena. Given the concert had two shows, one Friday night and another on Saturday night, the graphics had to be constructed to hold up during the entire run of the show.

Special boards were delivered and cut in half. DigitalMaster™ prints were made and mounted to the boards. Each “box” consisted of two Samsung phone ads and two panels promoting one of the 5 main band members. The panels were pre-assembled at Photomation then transported to the venue for installation. Additional care was taken when we installed the outside “boxes” since the concrete was sloped and they needed to be secured so fans would not damage the graphic. Fans of “Big Bang” were thrilled to see their band members on display and many were seen taking pictures with their favorite band member graphic.

On display for two days, the Big Bang graphics were a big hit!

High Visibility Graphics

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, St. Joseph Hospital, needed a large graphic to promote the hospital’s new capability. Working with company President, Charlene Hesketh, St. Joseph’s staff provided the artwork for this 2,000 sq. ft. graphic. Mesh material was chosen because it allows air to pass through the graphic and minimize stress on the anchors that secure the banner. The vertical seams were welded to enhance strength and the outside perimeter was reinforced with webbing for optimum results.

Hung over the side of their parking structure, this 40′ by 50′ mesh banner was printed by Photomation, delivered to the job site and installed by a crew of four of our expert graphic installers.

Visible off the 22 freeway near their facility in Orange, California, this large graphic is a reminder to all who pass by it of the new capability that keeps the nationally renown St. Joseph Hospital on the leading edge of medical technology and patient health.
