Make Mine a Double

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, El Torito Restaurants, was updating their facility in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, so they called upon Mike Mertz, their AllWallGraphics.com Account Manager, to help create new artwork for the restaurant décor. Mike and the client chose images that are used in many of the restaurant’s promotional materials and on their menu.

AllWallGraphics.com imaged these high-resolution, 6-foot tall art pieces on our exclusive ‘stucco-finish’ textured canvas. Then they were stretched on a hard board material to add durability in this high traffic environment. In addition, a protective coating was applied to help protect the surface integrity. The stucco-finished art pieces were then framed in our “El Torito moulding”, ready for hanging.

The two frames were delivered to the restaurant and were up in time to meet their grand-opening event.  Now it’s margarita time…make mine a double.

Fulfillment Earns Recognition Award

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, Cleveland Golf, asked us to produce an award recognition frame to help highlight and celebrate their 25 years of producing golf’s finest wedge. Their Photomation Account Manager, Mike Mertz, met with Cleveland Golf several times to discuss details of their vision. Photomation provided color proofs and after further discussion agreed on the mat color and moulding.

Photomation produced photographic images, mounted them to a back board, added a plaque, matted and framed each award. Every award was personalized to the recipient. Our staff packaged each award along with specific letters and sent them via FedEx to locations around the United States.

Photomation offers turn-key fulfillment solutions for awards and recognitions, as well as many other POP, POS, retail signage or any of our other products that may require that service. The client was thrilled that we could handle all his needs under one roof, saving him time and money.

Values in Action

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Every year our client, St. Joseph Health System, recognizes people within their organization that represent the core values of the health system. These four core values are Dignity, Service, Excellence and Justice. Photomation is honored to be a part of building the new Values in Action wall at Mission Hospital.

Working closely with Ware Malcomb, Mission Hospital’s design team, we created a new Values in Action wall based on their design. Several meetings were held to discuss the type of materials to be used. Technical issues regarding laser engraving the four core values into the angled wood pieces were ironed out as well as challenges surrounding the laser engraved slots for the 80 name and date plates were resolved. The goal was to create an entirely new and fresh display that would tie into some of the existing wood pieces at the hospital. All of the wooden pieces were color matched in density and color to ensure that everything matched perfectly.

Every photo and nameplate is removable and repositionable. This way the names and photos can be updated each year saving the health system money every time the recipients are changed. The combination of the wood and the plexiglass creates a very warm yet modern looking display. The client was very pleased with the final result.
