In Keeping With Our Vision

Our company’s vision statement is, “Be recognized by our clients as their best supplier.” Last week, we received an award recognizing our contribution to NEWH’s 25th Year Celebration Gala. The event, held at the JW Marriott in the LA Live area of downtown, was a huge hit for all attendees and raised money for scholarships for local hospitality students. provided a “red carpet” backdrop and a variety of large signs used throughout the event. The award reads, “On behalf of NEWH…We Thank You for your tireless hard work and determination, your generosity & kindness, your creativity and commitment; which all have contributed to the success of our 25th Year Celebration Gala.”

Best Defense

Our client, Geographics, needed graphics to help beautify an abandon property in a historic Riverside area called the “Arlington Business District.” Located just down the street from the Tyler Mall, this section in the city of Riverside uses historic photographs and fruit crate artwork from the citrus industry that dominated the area before the arrival of the suburbs that surround the Arlington Business District.

Photomation helped in the printing and installation of the fence graphics onto a newly built fence. Geographic’s scrapbook design of family album photos with personal notes and captions give the property a more “homey” feel for the neighborhood.  Additional landscaping will be added to finish the project.

Since 2008, Photomation has printed and installed graffiti-resistant banners, and now walls, for Geographic’s client, the Arlington Business District. Most of the works are accessible to everyone. The anti-graffiti coating keeps the neighborhood safe from a tagger’s spray paint and markers. Sometimes the best defense is to keep it off the fence.

New Look for NuVision FCU

KnowledgeByte Main Image

Our client, NuVision Federal Credit Union, needed to update the look of their branch at The Boeing C17 facility in Long Beach. Jennifer Tai, Marketing Specialist for NuVision FCU, contacted her account executive, Francisco Flores, to help bring their vision to reality.

Graphic designer, Lisa Marie Stone, created the wall pattern to fit the exact dimensions of the wall. One of the challenges of this installation was that the wall was part drywall and part concrete block wall. The new wallcovering was applied and created a new look that branded their facility.

To create the wallcovering we used 3M 180C with 8519 overlaminate. In addition, we fabricated a display with brushed aluminum 3D logo and mounted a DigitalMaster™ print on the back of 1⁄2″ thick flamed polished acrylic. We also created 28″×48″ and 22″×28″ poster holders with wire hanging hardware. Lastly, we created an easy, changeable acrylic disclosure display for all the legal notices that credit unions are required to post.

The graphics add a new look to the brand of NuVision Federal Credit Union.

Mobile Mexican Munchies

Our client, Super Mex Restaurants, wanted to wrap a lunch truck to offer their excellent food to corporate parties, weddings, fundraising events, and the like. Super Mex CEO, Steve Kishi, company President, Ted Orozco, and Manuel Orozco, Vice President, called their Photomation Account Manager Francisco Flores for help. Steve, Ted and Manuel wanted a truck that was different but had to represent their well-known restaurant theme.

Working with our digital artist Jeff DeAugustine, we created concepts and after several changes and improvements, the graphics were ready for production and installation.

The graphics were created using 3M 180C adhesive vinyl with an 8519 overlaminate. Window perf vinyl was used for the side windows. The truck was custom wrapped by our experienced technicians and the results were impressive.

We think you will agree, this is one recognizable vehicle. If you want to have their truck and their great food at your next event, give them a call.  They make awesome mobile Mexican munchies.
